Wedding Event Coordination from a Certified Wedding Planner included with venue fee: As soon as you book with The Barn, you will work closely with Jamie, our Certified Wedding Planner. Together, you will create a meaningful celebration and extraordinary guest experience. She will collaborate with you regarding timeline, vendor selection, design, and logistics. Communication is key…. you will be provided with a comprehensive “Welcome Package” which will contain all the information you need regarding vendor suggestions, lodging, rehearsal dinner, transportation and so much more. Jamie is with you every step of the way, with scheduled emails and phone calls at every milestone. The day before your wedding, Jamie will orchestrate the ceremony rehearsal making sure everyone involved is comfortable and informed for you memorable day. On your wedding day Jamie and Jennifer (J&J) will manage the flow and timing of the detailed schedule you custom created with Jamie making the day seamless. J&J will also assist in setting up of ceremony decor not handled by a specific vendor. At the end of the night, you will leave carefree, we pack your wedding decor and any left over items. These will be ready for you or a family member to pick up the next day.

From the great lawn with its meticulous landscaping to the wildflower field which symbolize unity, harmony, and the power of nature, you and your guests will experience the harmonious elements of nature.
Catering: We have partnered with Sugarsnap Catering and their founder and owner, Abby to bring you Award Winning locally sourced food with seasonally inspired menus: The Ultimate Farm to Table experience. Sugarsnap is unique in that they own their own farm and have been catering farm to table since 2003. Although there is plenty of culinary genius to go around, our chefs love to engage guests with fun and interactive experiences such as stations, goat and pig roasts, smokers, raw & sushi bars and most anything you can imagine. Haute cuisine with a fun flair! Our team loves to create unique experiences, so please do not be afraid to ask. You will work directly with Samantha, Sugarsnaps Event Producer and Coordinator to develop a menu that best meets your vision and budget for your memorable event. “If you can dream it, Sugarsnap can provide it.”
Venue: Custom Built, purpose designed building that was built from scratch with weddings in mind. Bright and elegant with high end finishes. Many large glass doors and windows create warm light within the venue. A photographers dream for capturing timeless photos.
Backup Plan: It is important to understand that having two sets of chairs alleviates much stress. We know the weather in Vermont can change quickly. If there is inclement weather, we can hold off and decide at the last minute whether to move the ceremony indoors or not. No need to decide the morning of or even 1 hour before. We are able to transition your ceremony to the inside within 15 minutes…If the sun begins to shine after the decision to move inside..no problem! We will dry off the outside chairs and you can have the ceremony outside. Flexibility and making sure your vision comes true.
Professional Staff: Our dedicated staff will tend to you and your guests needs while ensuing all details have been attended to. Your guests will feel welcome and taken care of as your wedding day unfolds.
Elegant Bridal Suite: Toast to the day's events with your wedding party before walking down the aisle. Our elegant bridal suite has a full bathroom with waterfall shower. Hair and makeup stations, sitting area and large dressing mirror with crystal chandelier. It’s the ultimate wedding pre-game event, filled with music, laughter, and maybe even a few happy tears.
Flexibility with arrival time: We understand that sometime hair and makeup need extra time for large wedding parties. We are happy to arrive as early as needed to accommodate your bridal party and their required timeline for hair and makeup. We will be there bright and early with a smile and even have coffee awaiting you!
Air Conditioning and Heat: The venue is temperature controlled year round. But you also have the ability to open the many doors and have a open air experience within the venue.
Covered patio , Outside seating, Fire pits and Great lawn: The veranda has two lounge areas at either end. Each consists of coffee table, sofa, end chairs and end tables. In between the lounge areas are high top bar tables with stools. String lighting and ceiling fans add an extra touch. Just beyond the covered patio, there is an open-air patio with 4 café tables, each with 4 chairs. Cafe style tables with chairs are scattered on the great lawn to create quaint seating areas. Lawn games are set up for guests to use pre ceremony, cocktail hour or into the evening hours. Three fire pits sit at the edge of the great lawn surrounded by Adirondack chairs. These fire pits are available to rent if lighted or just to enjoy the extra outdoor seating for star gazing.
Elegant Tent 45’ x 30’ Free of Charge We provide our tent free of charge to all Summer through Fall events. This provides your guests with more covered space to mingle while still being in the outdoors and enjoying the views. Furnished with couches, arm chairs and a large accent table. This is a perfect spot for us to set up a Cigar Bar, Bourbon Bar, or Tequila tasting for your guests to delight in.
Bars: Beautiful timber-built bar inside as well as a bar outside so guests do not have to wait in line for drinks. Riedel Crystal stemware used at bars.
Custom Built Farm Tables Elegant whitewashed finished creates a beautiful tabletop experience without tableclothes. Jamie will help with your floor plan layout. Large 8 person rounds can be mixed in to create a diverse effect.
