The Barn is the perfect canvas for a day centered on celebration amongst family and friends.
Cast Iron Catering and The Barn at Smugglers' Notch offer a perfect pairing. Together, we are devoted to providing our clients with the quintessential Vermont wedding or event experience by showcasing spectacular views and the fresh, farm-to-table food that we are famous for.
First and foremost, we believe that good food, great service and an inviting venue defines an event. The Barn and Cast Iron Catering reflect the very top echelon. Events are the sum of small and large decisions and we work closely with our clients on each of these details. Our collective experience will be a tremendous asset in the lead up to and the day of your wedding or event. It is our job to support you in having a seamless and stress free experience, and we take this responsibility seriously.
As Chefs, our work is inherently creative. We believe that professional experience, the selection of the highest quality of ingredients and our ability to craft a culinary experience as unique as our clients is what sets us apart.
The food that speaks most to us is slow-cooked rustic fare with an emphasis on bringing the richness of Vermont's farms to your table. Our interest lies in patterning with our clients to develop a custom menu that reflects the flavors that you are drawn to and incorporates the finest seasonal ingredients. As Vermonters ourselves, we have cultivated relationships with our local farmers and producers that shines through in our menu development.
In line with Vermont's rich agricultural tradition, we are often the producers of the ingredients that go into what we create. Our Chef-Owner, Joey Nagy and his partner, Georgia von Trapp, are the owners of Marble Hill Farm. With over 300 acres in Fayston, much of the seasonal produce is grown directly on the farm, as is free-range poultry and beef. We are committed to brining you the best, from seed to plate.
Cast Iron Catering and The Barn at Smuggler's Notch are your partners in creating memories to last a lifetime.
